This depends on the role and the number of applications that we receive. We encourage you to apply early, as we may close some vacancies early if there is a high volume of applications.

All application outcomes will be delivered to you via email.

I’ve been asked to complete an Online Test as part of my application. When do I need to complete this by?

Ideally, tests should be completed within five days of receiving the invitation. There isn’t a time restriction as such, but we recommend that you complete Online Tests as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

I’ve been invited to attend an interview, but I don’t know where to go or who to ask for when I arrive. What should I do?

Please email recruitment@trustford.co.uk with any questions and we’ll be able to confirm the details for you.

I’ve been invited to attend an Assessment Day. What should I expect?

Our Assessment Days are held centrally, usually in Northampton. There are between 15 and 30 candidates in attendance on one day. We understand you may be nervous so we aim to keep the day as relaxed and informal as possible. Please try not to feel too nervous! There will be a number of tests for you to complete during the day, but we don’t expect you to know everything – we can train you on specific job knowledge and skills. The Assessment Day is all about attitude and personality, and we want to see the real you shine.

The advert says if I’m successful I’ll be invited to attend an Induction Academy. What is this?

All new colleagues start their time at TrustFord at our Induction Academy. This is a residential stay at a hotel in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside where you’ll learn all about our business. The advert for the job you’re applying for will include how long your stay will be.

When will you request references from my current and previous employers?

We only ask for references once an offer has been accepted. We won’t contact them before this, unless you grant us permission to do so.
