As a Group Used Car Buyer you will be responsible for the for the sourcing, procurement, and distribution of used car retail stock across a large manufacturer retail group. You will provide and maintain excellent levels of industry working relationships through all different buying sources to ensure that we meet and exceed our monthly used car volume and profit targets whilst ensuring that individual dealership, regional, and overall group stock inventory levels are always maintained to the agreed standard.

• Do you have excellent interpersonal skills?
• Are you comfortable driving significant distances and working away from home on a weekly basis?
• Have you worked in the motor industry for a minimum of 3 years - ideally at junior leadership level or higher?
• Can you adapt quickly to the ever-changing used car market to ensure quick decisions are made under pressure?
• Do you have a wide and varied knowledge of buying and selling quality used car stock in significant quantities within the volume market sector?

For your first 2 days in the business, you’ll be attending our fantastic residential induction academy. This is at a lovely hotel in the heart of the Northampton countryside, where you’ll learn all about our business before you start your new role.

*(to be eligible for a company vehicle, you must be 19 years old and have held a full manual driving licence for a minimum period of 6 months)
