PartsPlus Marketing Executive

This is an exciting and varied Hybrid role, mainly working from home, however, travel will sometimes be required to the PartsPlus office in the Daventry area, the marketing agency situated near Newbury, to attend national meetings or to visit PartsPlus Centres.

The Role

Working in the Marketing team within PartsPlus.  The team is responsible for:

  • Creation and execution of all PartsPlus Marketing.
  • Management and administration of a wide range of marketing programmes and incentives.
  • Development of new marketing programmes and sales growth actions.
  • Developing and executing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Liaising closely with the PartsPlus Sales and Operations teams and senior management.
  • Supporting the PartsPlus Marketing programmes for European Markets.

The team requires additional support to assist in managing marketing programmes, communications, incentives and product promotions.  We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Marketing professional, whose ambition is to work as part of a Marketing team in a challenging role, managing the development and execution of campaigns. 

The candidate will have already contributed to and benefited from the experience of working in a fast-paced marketing environment. It is likely you will have experience of liaising with numerous stakeholders to ensure all elements of programmes and promotions are aligned with the strategy of the business to ultimately generate incremental sales and profit.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and develop Customer and Colleague marketing programmes and incentive campaigns to drive sales, engagement, retention and cross selling opportunities across the PartsPlus business.
  • Support the development, creation and delivery of all marketing communications including eDM, DM, Website, Social Media, Mobile App, Merchandise, Internal and Events.
  • Manage the development of Colleague and Customer communications, reward, recognition and incentive campaigns, ensuring cost effective programmes and initiatives are in place to help drive sales focus and activity.
  • Use reports and data to measure campaign effectiveness and share results and recommendations.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with colleagues, suppliers and people at all levels and positions.
  • A successful track record of creating and managing promotions and incentives.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
  • Intermediate copywriting skills, including the ability to adhere to and be an advocate for, brand guidelines to develop customer communications in the PartsPlus tone.
  • Proactive and able to work under own initiative.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Agency management experience.
  • Friendly team player with a can-do attitude and positive outlook.
  • The ability to work confidently within a very busy team, all of whom will mostly be working remotely.

Qualifications

  • Degree level education or a recognised qualification in marketing
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Full, clean driving licence
